Comprehensive medicolegal reports across a wide range of clinical specialties

 

Akiva accepts instructions from claimant, defendant, and joint-instruction solicitors across all case types. Reports are prepared to CPR Part 35 standards and based on thorough clinical examination and objective assessment. Prison visits and international examinations are available.

First Contact Practice (NHS primary care)


As a practising First Contact Practitioner in NHS primary care, Akiva brings a current understanding of how musculoskeletal and complex conditions present and should be managed at first contact. Particularly relevant for cases involving delayed diagnosis, inadequate referral, or sub-standard management in primary care settings.

TYPES OF INSTRUCTION

What Akiva can be instructed to provide

Personal injury reports

Soft tissue, MSK, and complex injury reports — causation, diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment.

Clinical negligence reports

Independent opinion on whether physiotherapy management met the accepted standard of care.

Quantum / catastrophic injury reports

Future care, rehabilitation needs, and equipment costs in high-value and catastrophic injury claims.

Single joint expert (SJE)

Court-appointed or jointly instructed to provide an impartial, independent assessment.

Addendum reports & Part 35 responses

Supplementary reports and written responses to Part 35 questions.

Conference with counsel

Pre-trial conferences in person or by telephone/video link.

FEES

Fee schedule

All fees are exclusive of VAT, which will be added where applicable.

£250 / hour

Includes all report preparation time

 

Court attendance

£2,000 / day

Plus preparation time at £250/hour

Conference includes preparation and travel time. Travel expenses additional.
